Paul and Heather’s divorce settlement :

more or less divorces sure don’t come easily. More so if they are of extremely rich celebrities. The 65-year-old former Beatles member Sir James Paul McCartney and his 40-year-old estranged wife Heather Mills have finally arrived at a settlement after months of divorce proceedings. As expected, there is good news for Heather. She can now rest in peace because Paul will provide security in addition to a whopping $100 million dollars (55 million pounds) to Heather, including a huge sum at the start, and regular annual payments until their daughter Beatrice turns 18 years-old. Phew! Guess finally Heather is happy and is getting what she had always wanted from Paul. Paul, the renowned Academy Award-winning musician and multi-instrumentalist was always very generous toward his ex-wife and daughter and this deal proves the fact. The settlement will apparently become official only on next Monday. I feel sorry for Heather, as she won’t be able to give publicity stunts every other day regarding this prolonged divorce proceedings, just to grab media attention.
